Rustam Yumash

NEUROCOACH AND NEUROFEEDBACK PRACTITIONER

After suffering cerebral vascular inflammatory condition with intensive headaches, Rustam developed a very keen interest in brain science. His own suffering has made him sensitive to other people's suffering and this informs his compassionate practice. He realised that many health conditions are related to many factors and need to be addressed in seevral areas -socially, psychologically, and biologically. In the last 20 years Rustam has mastered several modalities of Neurofeedback, including Infra Low Frequency, Near Infra-red light or Photobiomodulation, and Heart Rate Variability. HRV is a sensitive indicator of copying and adaption, stress levels and any instability in the brain or body. Rustam combines his scientific approach with the known benefits of deep meditation and breathwork. He is also a fellow member of the Applied Neuroscience Society of Australasia, dedicated to promoting Neuromodulation methods in mental health.

Through intensive breathwork and deep integrative psychotherapy Rustam works with unconscious emotional and thought patterns that normally are not easily accessible through talk therapy and often present as psychosomatic symptoms or maladaptive behavior and social difficulties. Rustam is also a keen researcher and developer of neuroscience and has organised many workshops, webinars and conferences dedicated to the field.

In his spare time Rustam likes walking around natural surroundings, and regularly practices Buddhist insight meditation with a focus on mindfulness and loving kindness.
