Registered Psychologist - Clinical or General

Brain Care (previously trading as Solstice-Mind Matters) was established in 1992 to meet the needs of families, individuals and couples who want to take ownership of their lives.  We have become known both locally and internationally for the quality of our services and our commitment to individually tailored client care.

At Brain Care we combine the proven benefits of psychotherapy with the science behind neurofeedback and other brain-based therapies. Our approach is suitable for children, teenagers, and adults looking to address issues such as ADHD, Autism, Behaviour Issues, Anxiety, Depression, Learning Difficulties, Memory Loss, PTSD, and other conditions.

We are currently looking for a fully registered psychologist, clinical or general, to work full time.

YOUR ROLE

·      Psychological Assessments.

·      Private counselling for individuals of all ages, couples and families, with a strong emphasis on disabilities management.

·      Employee Assistance Program (EAP) counselling – offering services to a range of clients, including adults, children, adolescences and couples.

·      Onsite Attendances and Critical Incident Responses.

·      Workers Compensation Scheme.

·      Multidisciplinary Interventions - work in a multidisciplinary team outside the clinic to support client outcomes.

·      Opportunity to learn and become involved in qEEG assessments and Neuromodulation therapies.

·      Other clinical and organisational psychological services as required, including reports.

 

YOUR SKILLS

·      Registered as a Psychologist with AHPRA, and either AAPI or APS.

·      Friendly psychologist capable of working in a team environment.

·      Experience in qEEG and neurofeedback desirable, but not necessary.

·      Experience with Behavioural Support Plans an asset, but not essential.

·      Updated indemnity insurance to $20M.

·      All required cards for NDIS work, including Working with Children and Police Clearance.
